Data Sources

GenoMedium has the ability to connect to several different data sources. Essentially, you can populate a data source directory with as many data sources as are available or that interest you. Unfortunately (at this time), GenoMedium is only able to connect to and search one data source at a time. In the future, however, it will be possible to connect to and search several data sources at the same time.

For information on how to implement your own data source and to configure it to be used in GenoMedium please following the following tutorials

There are two ways to add new data sources to GenoMedium:

  1. Via GenoMedium's Update Manager. 
  2. Manual insertion. Instructions are available here.
