Phenotyping sites and screening protocols

This activity will support field screening of breeding material by providing 1) access to a range of well characterised screening sites as well as the methodology to correlate local sites to these hubs, 2) screening protocols, especially for drought and stress traits, and 3) technical advice and backstopping. It is closely linked with the Trait and Metabolite Service (activity 3.1.3) that offers users access to facilities to measure complex traits and metabolites from material screened at well characterised screening sites using validated protocols.
