1. Double-click on the MY NETWORK PLACES icon on your Desktop or from your START button.
2. Click on ADD A NETWORK PLACE from the NETWORK TASKS menu on the left side of the window.
3. The ADD A NETWORK PLACE WIZARD will open. Click NEXT.
4. Select the CHOOSE ANOTHER NETWORK LOCATION option. Click NEXT.
5. In the INTERNET OR NETWORK ADDRESS field enter (copy & paste) http://wiki.cimmyt.org/confluence/plugins/servlet/confluence/default and click NEXT.
6. Enter your Wiki User Name and Password when prompted.
7. Enter a Name to label the link, such as the suggested webdav on wiki.cimmyt.org and Click FINISH.
8. A Windows Explorer window will appear. You may then Click FINISH to OPEN the teamwork web folder.
9. A Shortcut has been created in your My NETWORK PLACES. Open MY NETWORK PLACES. You might want to drag and drop the web folder icon to your desktop for easier future access.

Adding and Removing Files

You can drag folders or files from your computer or other storage media attached to your computer and drop them into the Web Folder. You can also drag folders or files from the Web Folder onto your computer.

You can also save to your Web Folder from within applications, such as Microsoft Word. Choose FILE, then SAVE AS in your application. Choose Web Folders, then the name of your Web Folder, and enter the name of your file (without spaces).
Updating Documents

1. Open the web folder, e.g. by using the shortcut as defined above or by double-clicking the MY NETWORK PLACES icon on the desktop, then the folder as named above, e.g. webdav on wiki.cimmyt.org.
2. Browse to the document to be edited.
3. Double-click the document. The document opens within the assigned Office application.
4. Edit as usual.
5. Save the document. It will be uploaded transparently with the same name as a new version of the previous document.

Alternatively, you can either open the relevant application and use the File -> Open dialogue. Or you may drag and drop the file in the browser window onto your desktop, edit as usual, and then drag and drop back onto the web folder.

The application in use has to be WebDAV-aware.
